Pld xmas tourney. Locals are terrible plyrs. Mad loose, call raises out of position with garbage. Because they generally all play the same they think it is the norm. Example blinds 400/800. Goes fold fold - bloke with 39000 chips makes it 8000 to go. Good for the better players as great value - just wait for your hands and position, put on your tin hat and get amongst it - good luck!!!! I play poker mainly at The Western and Big Bluff, just wanted to say what a good job both do, good staff and comps at both. Bluff is better for guaranteed money but has an intimidating poker atmosphere where as the western will have smaller comps but generally is a more relaxed poker atomsphere. I don't mean either in a negative way just how i feel about the clubs. both offer cash action but i rarely play, i hear both are good.

you have to be at your best to win here as the standard of play is very high, obviously you get fish's everywhere but overall the play is very aggressive, no place for the meek or if you are just waiting to get AA's KK's etc you just have to get involved or you will fall by the wayside.The dealers are very much in control and you can call for ruleings etc if need to and 'The Fridge' aka Chris will sort it out.Overall a great poker experience which provides a very fast learning curve to take with you into any other club if you feel you can't hack it with the sharks at Big Bluff!!
